What your au pair expects from you

Au pair
  • Meet the au pair on arrival at the airport, bus or train station
  • To accept and treat your au pair as a family member
  • A private furnished room with heating
  • Once a month a free weekend from Friday night until Monday morning
  • Monthly pocket money deposit into the au pair's bank account (450 € p/m for Belgium)
  • Full medical insurance cover for the period she stays with you
  • Allow the au pair to follow a language course in one of the regional languages i.e. Dutch, French or German
  • Allow 1 week paid holiday per 6 months
  • To pay for or (p)repay the trip to Belgium/the Netherlands depending on the mutual agreement.
